THERES MORE.By the way.I still was never given acetone to soak off my old acrylic nails while I got my pedicure. After a staring contest, she says something to the others in her native language, walks over to the drawer, brakes open a new pack & brings me some pedi-slippers.
She tells me To walk on the NASTY A$$ SHOP FLOOR BAREFOOTED! I looked at her like she was INSANE. I ask her for some slippers and she tells me that I dont need them. My nail tech is ready to do my hands and motions me to her table. After my toes are painted, Im left to dry in the seat but am never given any pedi-slippers. She doesnt even acknowledge what Im saying. I remind her that I need to soak off my old acrylic. Even more irritated now, she goes and gets sugar. She seems very annoyed, stops what she was doing & brings me Tea.

I ask for a cup of hot tea advertised as free with service. However, during my pedicure its freezing in the shop because the had the front door propped open (in November in Portland Oregon) while Im soaking in PLAIN water. This is the only reason they are getting 1 star. The hot stone massage during the pedicure was actually fantastic. Finally, Im seated in the chair and Im told that I have to pay $2 extra for a private baggie of files and such. So she lays me back down & adds in long lashes. After my double lash time, now its time for my pedicure.I wait patiently, I watch people whod come in long after me get pedicure service. I dont like it when its done because its not what I asked for. so I tell her that I will just settle for the $69 regular lash extensions. I dont want confrontation for with someone who is about to have glue near my eyes. Then she tells me that the Groupon wasnt for mink & tried to charge me $125 (but its advertised on their wall and on the internet for $95).

Cool.Get in the back room with the lash tech & she tries to convince me to upgrade Cashmere lashes for $220! I refuse. When I arrive, Im told that shed do my lashes first instead.

Great!I Get there early to get a pedicure, soak off old nails & get a full set of pink & white Solar nails.
I called ahead and was told that I didnt need to buy the Groupon because they would just price match. I located several other reviews online that confirms they are using super glue.Maybe they do ok nails but i would not let them anywhere near my eyes.įound this place on Groupon for $73 lash extensions. And I am now out of money, and my eyelashes are damaged.

Please visit an American, trained, professional who uses proper supplies when it comes to your eyes. The practices are not safe, the workmanship was poor, they use cheap unsafe alternatives for a service that should performed with high sensitivity, this is my fault for going here. She told me since they have bank insurance and my signature.Take it from me and do not go to a place that does nails and toes and have them do your eyelashes. The lady told me to go ahead because there was nothing the bank was going to do. I obviously declined as no reasonable person would return to this salon.I told the salon this was unreasonable and that I would contact my bank to explain everything that happened regarding this service. I ask them for my money back and they refused. The lash lady told me they were not giving me a refund, but if I wanted to return to the salon to have the lashes re-applied, then I could. Also, the majority of my natural lashes were torn out with the removal of the nail glue and false lash pieces. I told the lash lady that I felt this was a serious hazard, and that I was not happy at all. No one called me back. That night my right eye was so irritated that I had to soak my eye and the lashes, and remove them all from my right eye.The left eye was not as bad as the right, but I immediately removed the extensions from both eyes before they could get any worse.I called for the next 3 days asking for the tech to call me back and explaining what had happened to various employees. Finally, i received a call and explained the situation again. I ask for the lash person to call me back. I went to feel the base of the lashes and they were literally hard as a brick, and would not move.I called the salon back and told them what was going on. She said its regular glue and that it was the same glue they always use for lashes.I told her it was really weird that it smelled just like nail glue and was burning my eyes.By the time I got home, I could barely see out of my right eye. I ask her what kind of glue she was using because it smelled a lot like nail glue. If you like having your eyes do not get any eyelashes put in at this nail salon!!!About midway through the process, I got the strong odor of super glue and my right eye started to burn.
